 | Impact-resistant and wear-resistant: It can withstand the impact force and friction during the retraction and release of the anchor, protecting the ship's steel plates from wear and deformation, and preventing the anchor chain pipe from being directly loaded. Guidance and Positioning: Guide the anchor body to smoothly and snugly enter the anchor chain tube, prevent the anchor flukes from swinging and scraping the hull, and ensure the stable storage position of the anchor. Flow field optimization: By using smooth arc transitions, the resistance and vibration of water flow are reduced, thereby lowering the navigation noise and the erosion and corrosion of the anchor chain tube. Installation location: It is usually installed at the side outer plate outlet of the anchor chain pipe. Some large ships also set up upper anchor lips at the deck chain holes to jointly protect the structure of the anchor chain pipe. |
2. Materials and Craftsmanship
Material: Mostly high-strength cast steel (such as ZG230-450) is used, which features excellent impact toughness, wear resistance and weldability, making it suitable for long-term marine environments of ships.
The process involves casting, descaling, heat treatment, non-destructive testing (UT/MT), precision machining and anti-corrosion coating to ensure there are no defects such as pores or cracks, meeting the inspection requirements of classification societies.
